EVENT POSTPONED - 'Isaac Rosenberg and Bristol: a 120th Anniversary Celebration'. Bristol, planned for Saturday 23rd October - EVENT POSTPONED indefinitely.

The War Poets Association regrets to announce that it has been necessary to postpone its Isaac Rosenberg event planned for Saturday 23rd October 2010, due to the loss of the main venue, which has closed down. It is hoped to arrange the event for another date, but for now it is postponed indefinitely and bookings are no longer being taken.
The WPA apologies to those who were going to attend and to Rosenberg scholars Dr Jean Moorcroft-Wilson, Dr Jean Liddiard and Dr Vivien Noakes who had kindly agreed to present papers, and to Richard Perceval Graves who had agreed to read the poetry. We hope that we can persuade them to take part again in a future WPA day conference.
It would help us greatly to know in advance if you are likely to attend the replacement event and would like the WPA to contact you, by e-mail, post or text, when it is announced. Please e-mail events@warpoets.org or write to us by post so that further details can be sent to you - without obligation to attend - when a new event is announced.
You can read Jean Liddiard's biography of Isaac Rosenberg on the WPA website by clicking the link on the Poet Bar on the right, or access it here.
